This will not affect your application, and we’ll do everything we can to support you in the recruitment process.
If you let us know about any adjustments you need at the start of the process, we may contact you later on – either by phone or email – as we move into the later stages. This helps us make sure everything is in place to support you.

You can apply for only one role per recruitment season (September 2025 to August 2026). If we think your skills might be a better fit elsewhere during the process, we’ll chat with you about it.

Stage 1 – Application: You will firstly need to submit an application and upload your most relevant and up to date CV.
Stage 2 – Digital interview: Should you be successful, you will then be invited to complete a digital interview.
Stage 3 – Assessment Centre: If successful at digital interview stage, you will be placed in an Assessment Centre candidate pool for consideration. Please note, this is a pool for consideration only. If you are selected to attend an Assessment Centre, our recruitment team will contact you.

Preparation tips for your application and interviews

  • Research thoroughly: Learn about Capgemini, its projects, clients, values, and culture.
  • Understand the role: Tailor your answers to show how your skills and experience align with the job you’re applying for.
  • Use notes wisely: Feel free to refer to notes, but avoid reading directly from a sheet or screen.
  • Stay focused: Keep answers relevant. If you drift off-topic, pause and refocus.
  • Give examples: Support your answers with specific examples where possible.
  • Avoid repetition: Try not to repeat the same points across different answers.
  • Be authentic: Please use your own words when responding to application form and digital interview questions. AI platforms can make your answers feel less personal and are also sometimes inaccurate.

If you have not received any updates from us in a while, it does not mean that you have been unsuccessful. The recruitment team will be in contact with any updates to your application or the role you have applied to.
Our recruitment team do not use AI to speed up the recruitment process – we hand select candidates to progress to the next stage.

Due to the large volumes of applications we receive at each point of the process, we kindly ask that you await our response.

We close roles as soon as we have enough applications to fulfil our requirements, you can see which roles are open in the Capgemini Job search. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible.
If you notice that the intake date on the job description is approaching, please do not worry. If you are able to view the role you have applied to on our website, we will either still be recruiting for this intake or will be considering newly added later intakes.

If you can no longer locate the role you have applied to on our website, it will be due to one of the following:

  • We have experienced a higher volume of applications than expected and have temporarily removed the role from the website.
  • We have received enough applications to fill the role and have withdrawn it from the website. In this case, you will receive a role closure email from us.

Role and Programme

You join Capgemini on day one as a permanent full-time employee. Your Capgemini career will continue after the graduate programme ends.

Your career at Capgemini will begin with a one-week induction. There is an amazing atmosphere and it helps to create a really strong community.

The intake dates and base locations for our Graduate roles will be listed on the individual job description you have applied to.
Though the job description will state your base location, mobility is key for our roles. We expect all team members to be flexible and ready to travel to meet client’s needs.

As a client-led organisation, we aim to balance client needs and employee preferences wherever possible.
Our Graduate programmes follow a hybrid working model, which will include some remote working, working at your base location and travelling to client site where necessary.

Applications typically go live in September or October – check the careers section of our website for updates.

We are keen to hear from you if you have experience, or a strong interest, in the industries we operate in, and a desire to drive change though consulting.
We look for candidates who demonstrate:

  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • An inquisitive, entrepreneurial mindset
  • A commitment to personal development
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Flexibility to travel, including the ability to work away from home up to 5 days a week

Your journey begins with a comprehensive induction, covering essential consulting skills – from structuring presentations and process mapping to understanding project charters and agile methodologies.
After induction, you’ll join the business, where you’ll learn directly from our subject matter experts on a supportive, feedback-rich environment.
The entire Graduate Programme is also backed by a network of dedicated support roles designed to coach, guide, and provide pastoral care through your experience.

Eligibility

Our Graduate programmes are open to all individuals from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds. There is no requirement to have graduated recently, and all applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Holding an MSc does not give you an advantage over those with a BSc – what matters most is your potential and motivation.

A cover letter is not required for our applications. Instead, we encourage you to focus on providing detailed and thoughtful responses to the questions in the application form and provide an up-to-date CV. This is your opportunity to highlight your motivations, relevant experience, and suitability for the role.

Yes, you can apply while still completing your studies. However, to be eligible to join the Graduate Programme, you must have successfully completed your undergraduate degree and received your final classification before your proposed start date with us.

You are welcome to reapply during our next recruitment season, from September onwards. A previous rejection will not negatively impact your new application.

We strongly recommend reviewing and applying any feedback you received from the Assessment Centre to strengthen your candidacy.

Additionally, attending our recruitment events can help you can a deeper insight into Capgemini and our graduate offerings.

Yes, PhD students are free to apply to roles, and we have had a number join the graduate scheme in previous years.
